The cities of the twenty first century have transformed themselves into a living pathogen that is perpetually infecting and polluting our natural environment leaving a permanent blemish on the skin of our planet. Blobby is likewise to a pathogen’s motion but contrary to its function. It is an architecture that steers away from the right-angled form to an anthropomorphic language that involves the seamless organic expression of forms. It is a biomorphic form of density and wit that celebrates nature and its surroundings.

Like a growing bacteria, a blob, bubble, even blotch, Blobby smudges through the architecture of the city like an irreversible infection, to touch, to inspire, stimulate and provide for the people of the city. We are talking about a symbiotic relationship here.
