This photographic series examines the female profile and its part to part relationship. Influenced by surrealism, the work utilizes photomontage subtly to create a distorted figure. However, this apparent disfiguration is not obvious at first glance thus forcing the audience to discover it and question the veracity of the profile over time. The brutal treatment of the head and body explores the creative potential of experimentation and photographic anomalies. It makes what is normally expected, unexpected from what is absolute to relative.
